Hi Till, can you provide us with some background on how our collaboration initially started?
When we launched Beyonnex, we had a big goal: we wanted to be cloud-first. But we needed to have a proper setup from the very beginning. That is why we decided very early on that our go-to cloud service provider would be AWS. We worked with a partner who set up our AWS accounts, which they refer to as the Landing Zone. There’s tooling around configuring accounts, billing, networking, and security monitoring at a basic level. We also needed additional support to ultimately build what we call the platform. It’s still called the platform and enables our developers to build the various components needed in the process chain. So, we were looking for some support there, and we found Milan Gluhić. He was initially working on our platform and really was the first person on the DevOps side. And from there we increased our collaboration and had other colleagues from Cyberlab joining us.
What were your expectations when we first started collaborating?
We were really just embarking on this journey to build out our solutions, and we didn't really know where it would take us and how priorities could be changed. So, we needed to have people with the right capabilities on board. That clearly worked out very well because we are still working together.
How did our team expertise or skills complement your organization's needs?
In the very beginning, we needed broad knowledge and ultimately flexibility. Now, what is most important is support for the various tasks teams need to accomplish, and above all, strong AWS expertise. We required professionals who were well-versed in building an IT platform on AWS and using technology stack including Terraform, GitLab, etc. Additionally, we needed professionals with relevant experience who could work proactively with development teams, helping them find solutions. This is when Dragomir Veselinović and Nikola Kolović joined us.
How would you evaluate the overall effectiveness and value of our team and their support during our collaboration?
It's really excellent. We are very lucky to have found Cyberlab and to have additional support from your team. I want to highlight that what’s truly valuable is that your people are an integral part of our team. That’s exactly how it should be, because this is the kind of support we need.
